Intensive Moscow's Assaults Disrupt Power Across Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have faced increased strikes in the past few days

Overnight, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused power cuts in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were injured while residents in eastern neighborhoods were plunged into darkness and faced interruptions to water supplies, as stated by municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a young boy was fatally injured in a different aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.

Moscow has intensified assaults on energy facilities over the past few days, while officials has demanded "substantial measures" from international partners to exert influence on Moscow.

"What is required is not superficial actions but decisive action - from the US, Europe and the Group of Seven - in supplying air defence systems and applying sanctions," mentioned in a social media post.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen missiles targeted energy facilities, labeling such assaults as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were laboring to fix the damage.

A barrage of missiles struck power facilities and residential structures in the capital.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the strikes on the capital have been hospitalized, as confirmed by city authorities.

Regional authorities said the urban area endured heavy assaults throughout the evening. A young boy died and several individuals were hurt.

The assaults come after evenings of bombing campaigns in the area, portions of which are occupied by invading troops.

All of Ukraine is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to detect.

National leaders told reporters that Moscow was intentionally trying to damage the national power system, with attacks already impacting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated technical personnel and authorities were anticipating more assaults.
